The Background
Our client had existing Line of Sight (LOS) Gas Detectors installed on one of their Normally Unmanned Installations (NUI’s). This type of Gas Detection is normally very reliable. However, our client was experiencing spurious alarms
during adverse weather conditions with the existing Line of Sight (LOS) Gas Detectors prompting an urgent requirement to resolve this.

Due to our team’s extensive experience in engineering, installing and commissioning Fire & Gas Detection Systems we were approached to undertake the required upgrade works.
The Project

Dron & Dickson delivered the complete solution which included onshore engineering support, offshore maintenance and commissioning, as well as the supply of all required test equipment (such as Alignment Scope, Handheld Interrogator etc).

The Result
